A beautiful antique two-piece cupboard featuring a rich, timeworn patina, traditional craftsmanship, and wonderful original details.
The upper cabinet features interior shelving, offering generous space for displaying collected pieces, ceramics, or everyday essentials. The lower cabinet provides additional enclosed storage, making this a versatile piece for a kitchen, dining room, or living space.
Thoughtfully constructed in two sections, the upper cabinet lifts off the base and is secured in place with wooden dowels. This traditional construction allows the piece to be separated for easier transport and placement.
Both the upper and lower cabinets retain their original functional locks and two original keys. The decorative keyhole escutcheon on the lower cabinet is missing, although the lock remains fully functional.
The original planked back, aged wood, and beautiful signs of wear speak to the piece’s history and character. A timeless antique with the charm and functionality of furniture made to last.
